You are not obliged in any way to take or pay for your students to do any or all of these activities. They are offered as suggestions if you are new and are not sure what students might like to do.

- BBQ in a local park (Sausages at the local Park)
- Visit to Daisy Hill to see koalas for free (10am-4pm) and not feed the 'roos at dusk.
- Mangrove walk at Wynumn (take mozzie spray!!!)
- Visit to Mt Cootha either at night or day
- Visit to Mt Gravatt to see the veiw - theres a cafe there as well now but its only open during the day though
- River Cats

With all the rain that we have here in Brisbane - here are a few ideas of what they can do instead of going to the beach!
* Visit one of the large shopping centres - Carindale, Garden City, Chermside, Indooroopilly.
* Try swimming in an indoor swimming complex - Chandler
* Movies - cheap ones at Balmoral, Victoria Point and Hawthorn. Or maybe Gold Class for an indulgent experience.
* IMAX movies at Southbank
* Ice Skating. $17 in Acacia ridge and Loganholme
* 10 pin bowling about $15 per game or $20 for two games
* City hall has reopened its museum and of course you can do a tour right up to the inside of the bell tower.
* DFO - direct outlet shopping near the Airport
* GOMA - Gallery of modern Art near the Museum
* Museum is free - Science museum about $13
* Rock climbing - Fortitude Valley - About $30
* Spend the day cruising on the city cats and look at the water from the water!
* Lazertag - Gabba from $27
* Tour of the XXXX brewery including beer tasting. From $27
